This is just an idea Joe and it means a bit more work, but I think it would be a good idea to have a poll on the funniest/best thread/post, we can send you our nominations and then run a poll. The reason I say this is because I think you will get loads of single votes and we all can not remember the best ones, so might nominate one then find a suggestion which you forgot about being much funnier. (Like webbo declaring Lazzer as a moderator )

Naughty, that's a good plan although as you say, it'll take a lot of work.
The best post, funniest post, etc are very very grey areas as most of us have the memory of a goldfish and cannot remember what the post we wish to vote for was about, title, etc.
