Don't rule out lifelong City fan Lembit Opek's part in this.

Don't forget You're on Sky Sports presenter Gary Newbon, and the Football League Show presenter Mainsh Bhasin.

Also, Willie Thorn, Arlo White from 5 Live and Bill Maynard from Heartbeat

Not forgetting of course Daniel Lambert, the drummer from Keane and The Elephant Man(!). Thought it was apt to group those 3 together.

The only people who would make a real difference are the very wealthy, near billionaires or foreign consortia with that scale of resources. These are extremely difficult to attract.

The Mandarics of this world are now the amongst small fry of football owners when it comes to premiership ambitions. I'm not criticising him because he has been an improvement on what went before (in my opinion, tho' others would disagree).

I have always thought we would make an attractive proposition to a would be investor. We have the support and infastructure but it seems we are currently not so. It also keeps pissing me off when i see this thread as I keep mistakenly thinking we suddenly have. :icon_roll

The only way I could see any investor making any money is via the 'quick buck' route. That is, invest enough to get the club promoted but without breaking the bank and then sell it on straight the way.

Unfortunately, it takes so much spending on players transfers and wages to bring in the quality of player (if they and their agents are willing to sign for our sort of club) that would give a club like Leicester a realistic chance of staying in the premiership that I can't see how an investor would make money.

What most ambitious clubs are looking for is a seriously rich person or consortia that enjoys the power of running a football club.....but they are not likely to get much of a financial return. Most successsful clubs do it on a pile of debt.

RL said on Saturday that the whole of the Milan interview would be available after the weekend on the website, well, I'm ****ed if I can find it.
