And Kelly says that his side will be working doubly hard this week ahead of Saturday's vitally important contest against Mike Newell's Hatters.
He said: "We know that we can and should do better - but they are just words. We have now got to focus on what we have got ahead of us, and that starts against Luton on Saturday. It's a very important game for us.
"We have had a brief chat this morning, and there is a general feeling of frustration around the place. But we have now got to turn those frustrations into a positive as we strive to get three points this weekend.
"It's an important game for both clubs. It's not going to determine the outcome of where everyone ends up, but it is another brick in that wall.
"We have got 17 games to and we will be taking each of those individually - starting this Saturday.
"We are four points above the relegation zone. That is a fact and we want to be higher. We need to now try and win as many of our remaining games as we possibly can."
