Can anyone confirm or deny whether Chambo is able to play in the league yet? The players (like Pennant) who've been mentioned who made their debuts at 15 all seem to have done it just in the cup and not made a league debut until much later.

Chambo is able to play but he's not allowed to sign professional terms with the club until hes 16.

School leaving age is 16.

Under FA rules players can sign as a trainee when they are 15, and as a full professional at 17.

I don't think there's any rule about how old a player has to be before he can appear in the first team, but in a couple of years a rule is coming into force with a minimum age of 16, so it looks like Chambo could be in the record books for a long time.

I would like to see this formation, but can't see it happening. Also Gerrbrand or Stearman might be better in Maybury's position, although i can't see CL dropping him him.
