the 3 goals

Apologies if it has already been said in other threads, and I know it doesn't matter now, but I couldn't tell if the 2 goals were off side and the 3rd was handball and haven't seen again since.

Were they off side and was it hand ball??

The Fryatt goals both looked offside from where I was sitting. The 1st one was a bit harder to call, but the 2nd one was a mile offside. As for the 3rd disallowed goal, I was well on my way back to the station by then.

We were in line for both offsides and they were certainly that.

I saw one of our lads try and punch the feckin' ball in the net for the third, so that was definitely the right decision

The second one was so offside that I didn't even bother to get up to my feet to cheer it. The first one was less offside but hardly needed to linesman flag to realise it was so. I didn't see the handball but what dissent there was seemed less than the constant niggling at a very niggly ref throughout the game.

Let's face it, if we had got any of them, it would have been more than we deserved.
