And so it begins. It could be a busy one this year.

Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson is plotting an audacious summer bid for Michael Owen.

King Power, the wealthy Thai company which owns the Foxes, are preparing to throw the kitchen sink at their quest for promotion to the Premier League next season.

And boss Eriksson has identified the 31-year-old Manchester United striker as the man to spearhead the charge.

Former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle striker Owen, who won 51 England caps under Eriksson, has Â*endured another injury-plagued season at Old Trafford – but the Swede and City’s money men will not be put off.

Eriksson is convinced that, if fit, Owen will score goals at any level – and King Power are willing to back their manager because they recognise the former world-class predator will be a major asset commercially as well.

Instead of loan deals next season, Eriksson will be given the go-ahead to embark on a shopping spree to lead Leicester to automatic Â*promotion

I don't think this can be emphasised enough!!

Ronaldo
Iniesta
Vidic
Zambrotta
Ribery
Gerrard
Vermaelen
Cech

Sign them all today, Sven, or f*** off.

Rumours reports

Jeffrey Bruma to sign a season-long loan deal.

Sign the Yak and Kamara for an amount somewhat less than the £5m Wolves will pay Leeds for Maxie.

Head in ice cold bucket of water time.

.

Wouldn't that be painful after a while??

don't particularly want Bruma to stay (not good enough defensively, based on what i've seen so far)...and Owen...SURELY he's just going to get injured if he comes here??

it's going to be an interesting summer.

I don't like 'interesting' summers. The last 'interesting' summer we had involve us signing fourteen players, most of whom were utter dogshit.

...we also had a terrible manager in charge who saw a video of Hossein Kaebi on youtube and thought, yes please.
