Surprised no one's got this, it's by one of the biggest selling bands of the eighties.

Clues:

3. American Soul singer - Quentin Tarantino fans will be familiar with one of his songs.

4. Eighties synth/new romantic band. The singer appeared in the video for Bowie's Ashes to Ashes.

6. From a fairly recent album of cover versions of eighties songs, some of which have been featured on TV ads, including their version of Depeche Mode's Just Can't Get Enough.

7. This 'band' had a hit with Pump Up The Bitter in 1988.

9. One of the biggest bands of the eighties.

10. American band. Played at Leicester Uni in 1987 where they were superb, well worth the £1.50 ticket price.

The final track on the first Kathryn Williams album gives a clue for 9 and 10.

Star Turn is correct, the others are wrong.

9. I know the Toy Dolls did a version, but I wouldn't call them a big band of the 80's, but I will guess at that anyway
