I see that they won again last night (4-3 at Villa). They're doing pretty well for a first season in the Premier League U21 league (9th place out of 22). http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/barclays-u21-premier-league-tables/

Apparently, the DofF Terry Robinson has a big influence on them in terms of recruitment etc.

Anyone watch any of the matches? Is there anyone in there that is first team material?

If we're well clear of third with a few games to go, maybe it's a chance to give a few some games.

Michael Cain is highly regarded down there (insert Michael Cain joke here), Wouldn't be surprised to see him break through. We paid 5 figures for him when he was 16 at Luton.

Dawson's name seems to pop up quite a lot in reports also.

I thought he went on loan somewhere.

EDIT: Cain that is.

Mansfield. He's come on as a second half sub in a couple of games.

A 4-1 win tonight at the Ricoh over Reading

Won again last night. They've got an outside chance of finishing in the top four which would put them into the play offs for national U21 champions.

Isn't that their fifth win in a row?

Yes
Harry Panayiotou’s second half goal handed Leicester City’s Development Squad a vital Barclays U21 Premier League victory over Wolves at Molineux on Monday night.
The young striker was quickest to react when Jon Flatt saved Michael Cain’s initial effort to earn the Foxes a fifth straight league win, and one which sees them leapfrog Manchester United into eighth position with just three games of the season remaining.

The development squad have their final game of the season on Wednesday night against Man City at the KP. They've won six and drawn one of their last seven matches.

The top four sides go into a play off to decide the league winners. Liverpool, Chelsea and Fulham are definitely above us and Man Utd and Man City could both finish above us. If we were to win on Wednesday, we have a chance of finishing fourth and can finish no lower than sixth.

Time for the players to go and get royally shitfaced then.
