Surely at his age, Hoult would be on a free? Even though we could do with a new keeper, I wouldn't be too pleased if any money we get for selling Maybury is then spent on a 34 year old really.

Although, if we were to swap Welsh for Maybury and got a little cash in the deal too (I don't think Welsh + £100k is wholly unrealistic), then it could be good to get him in.

I'm not sure if they'd be willing to let him go anyway though, what with that Kuzcask guy already going out to Man Utd, I think making Hoult their second choice keeper..

We are already over budget on transfers this season apparently. The Maybury money will be used to make up the difference I would think. You've got more money in your arse pocket than The Club has Alex.

I know - i really had hoped Gary the God would stump some cash.....

I'd be delighted if that was the deal.

If you look I think You will find that i predicted us to win yesterday...if we couldn't win yesterday then we may as well pack in.

I agree, but I also don't think we should take anything away from the performance. Ipswich were there for the taking and we beat them comfortably. The scoreline could quite easily have been more. 5-1 would not have been unrealistic.

More than a Left sided player ?

I would say both are of equal importance, I really cannot stress the panic Henderson causes amongst the back four at any set piece or when the ball is crossed in.

The 2 free kicks Ipswich had that were in dangerous positions, especially the one with a couple of minutes to go, I couldn't watch. He wasn't lining his wall up, and I'm sure I saw McCarthy to tell him to do it. :102: He is a good shot stopper but I still prefer Douglas.
