They cannot win can they? If the owners had removed Pearson, a LOT of people on here would have moaned that Nigel Pearson had been badly treated, the owners were trigger happy and we're doomed. They don't act and they're still wrong!

I agree with you here. I think the decision not to sack him was wrong but they made the decision after being criticised for being too trigger happy with Sven. They've gone to the opposite end of the spectrum this time and held fire for too long. I don't put too much blame on them for this though, I ultimately put it down to the manager and the players for not being able to drag us out of this mess. I think Pearson's career as a manager is going to start spiraling downward now. He may get another Championship job but I don't think it will be long before he's managing league 1 and 2 teams like Taylor and Adams

If any of the players talks to the mockery and comes up with a headline such as "Big Wes says we must cut out the silly errors'' I am going to be very angry.

As an act of defiance to this I am going to attempt to chew off my own cock.

Surely, nobody will question a change now!

Yes.

Which genius-like and available manager (who is interested in the post) do we sign up?

I see no point in change for change's sake unless it is a move forward. I do not believe there are better managers than Pearson who would take the job.

Did I say that it HAD to be right now? I do not know which managers would be interested in the Leicester job and whether now, or the close season is the time to make the change. We have to trust the board to make that decision.

Nigel Pearson looks a beaten man, to me. I know that interviews have to say the same bland things,"We'll be giving it our best shot...", "We're still in the mix...", "We'll be working extra hard in training..." but, NP looks baffled. I cannot blame him: I do not have the faintest idea how we get out of this spiral - then, I'm not a football manager (thank goodness!)

I've no idea when you intend to replace him, people have been calling for his head all season regardless of available alternatives.

And you want to put trust in a board which has proven itself to be wholly incompetent? Wow. Personally, I wouldn't trust them to organise a cookie sale.

I say again, unless someone can name an available, competent, interested manager then calling for the head of the one we have seems awfully retarded and myopic.

Wait a minute, I'll just have to let football manager load so that I can compile the short list.

Blimey you went to the KP on a Sunday morning. I've heard of people treating football as a religion ....

Oh are the chains still there then?

Didn't notice!

Only the Family Stand was open. The electronic advertising hoardings were all covered over with grey tarpaulin - looked much better that way!

Alright I have the list:

1. That bloke that gets teams promoted but doesn't like us
2. That bloke that got us promoted before but doesn't seem all that interested
3. That bloke that gets sacked before his team is relegated but will get it right one day
4. That bloke that used to play for us, doesn't have any coaching badges but does have pashun
5. That bloke that isn't Nigel Pie sun
6. That bloke that is Nigel Pie sun

I'll be off to the optician after special school tomorrow.

The problem with that remark is, that it applies equally to those who wish to replace Pearson, and those who do not.

As I left Sixfields yesterday there was a bunch of lads all swearing about how Aidy should now be sacked. I was as confused by that as with your intimation that I make my decisions using a game I don't possess.

This form table is such sad viewing. What an opportunity we've wasted this season.

Next time, Redknapp in charge of QPR and Adkins in charge of Reading plus AN Other will be stronger than anything relegated last season and they'll have huge parachute money supporting an immediate return bid. We'll not have such a open league again.

As for the managerial situation, nobody at any club, in any league, would expect to retain their job with those results and performances. It is a total certainty that NP will be sacked at the end of the season. Even he won't complain.

His replacement is vital and will see us kick on or drop into another era of disappointment. However, financially, we cannot sustain the second option. It's the most important managerial selection in our history. I truly hope that we're not relying on a twenty-something Thai kid making the right call here. Or Andrew Neville who has shown himself to be out of his depth with these decisions. We should be employing seriously capable people to investigate and recommend options. If we don't, the owners might just as well burn their Baht as continue to bank-roll us.

There are a lot of potentially good managers out there that would prove successful. There are many more options that wouldn't.

people have been saying the league will be more difficult year after year. Look at the relegated teams this year.

I might just wait until there are some relegated teams this season.

This season was our big opportunity. None of the relegated team (bar a late surge from Bolton) have challenged this season. Next season, with QPR's financial backing, I think they'll definitely go straight back up. A lot of course depends on their ability to keep players. Reading are in a lot weaker position, so they could potentially struggle, but bar Wigan, I think the other teams in the relegation battle will all be well placed to mount a promotion campaign.

We've royally ****ed this up and next season will be a lot more difficult on paper.
