The Mahrez Saga

Why would 'gusts', a correctly spelt word, get corrected to 'fists'?

I rather like 'balled up gusts'... it would work for me as a description, perhaps when talking about gusts of wind for instance. I'm not sure I could extend that to use when talking about pent up emotions though. I maybe could write a poem about Mahrez to see how I get on. Maybe I can get it in there. Now what rhymes with 'snivelling little snot nosed over privileged whiner'?

Are we actually allowed to call him a complete and utter **** yet, or do we have to wait a few more days of him treating us like shit ?

Would be nice to know

Not until Uncle Puel has written in blood saying that he’s a ****.

Otherwise it’s just hearsay.

Ode to Riyad

It must be (oh so)
It must be (oh so)
Hard.

I have so far refrained from commenting on this issue because I thought he would pull himself together and get on with life. If Riyad genuinely has depression that I feel sorry for him. If not, he needs to realise what a lucky young man he is, regardless of a non move to Manchester City.

Finally, he is a wonderful wonderful talent and a part of the greatest thing that will ever happen to this club. Riyad, please get on with playing football and finish your Leicester career with some dignity.

I think it's too late for the dignity part.

He's having a tangible effect on our season now and that is unforgivable.

I'll remember him for his unbelievable skill during the title season, but I'll remember more fondly the ones that didn't turn into complete turncoat bastards.

I think he's got a week and then he's potentially screwed. If he doesn't turn up after Man City, he is either clinically depressed (no blame given) or a wanker.

I am fairly certain that you can not develop depression in a couple of days. He could certainly be very fed up when things did not go his way.

So he can rock up on Monday with a doctor’s note or piss off.

Alright, now I’m getting pissed off with him too.

He needs to get his shit together and get back to work. Otherwise he’s not going to play and that will only make others valuation of him further from our own come the summer.

Don’t be a dick and ruin your time here like this Riyad. You deserve to and still most likely will go down as a legend at this club - but don’t ruin that by spending 6 months sulking.

Hopefully even though he blames the club, he’ll see that it isn’t the fans, Puel or his teammates that made that decision and will get back to work with them.
