The Managers Position

Following MM's press conference, it would appear that Rob has been given the go ahead to try and bring the success that Milan craves, however this has followed intent rumour and speculation that Iain Dowie had been approached to take over the role. Mandaric even confirmed he had spoken to Dowie and a few other managers about the position.

IMO something has happened over the last few days that has forced a change of plan by MM hence the sudden backing of Kelly, my theory is that Dowie was not the first choice of Mandaric and his original target had maybe not been as keen when initially approached, however there has been a change of circumstances / heart and now the original first choice has expressed his desire to join MM in his new venture but perhaps only in the summer

My theory is that Fishface has agreed to join Milan in the summer with Jamie as Assistant, to be groomed as Harry's replacement in a couple of seasons when he steps up to Director of Football.

He's not up to it end of.The sooner he goes the quicker we can start to build...IMO

Maybe he is considering his position. He has stated before he doesn’t really want to be manger and prefers being a coach, maybe a resignation is on the way, but melts is right he should grabbed this opportunity with both his grubby little mitts.

Maybe he is considering his position. He has stated before he doesn’t really want to be manger and prefers being a coach, maybe a resignation is on the way, but melts is right he should grabbed this opportunity with both his grubby little mitts.

I doubt Mandaric's admission that he has spoken to a number of other managers and that there are plenty that would like the opportunity to manage the club will have filled Kelly with much confidence, seems a strange thing to bring into the public domain especially if last nights conversations were regarding Kelly's future.

He met with Uncle Milan last night so no need to embarrass himself in front of the press fending off repeated questions about whether he is staying or going

I'm sure he knows the score - "I'm not a very good loser, and I'm not very patient" I believe is what he said in the press conference

theres a good chance harry could end up here. he nearlly came once so he must like the club somewhat

He gave me the impression that these managers anxious to get the job had been approaching him rather than the other way round. But whtever, he was asked the question about Dowie and could hardly deny it - even "no comment" would have been more of a downer for RK than saying what he did.
