I think Drinkwater has been key during this good run of form. That said it did take him a while to settle and until he did he looked extremely average. Let's hope yesterday was a blip and that he's as good as he's shown recently rather than going back to the player at the beginning of the season.

NP says a few players are not performing to their peak,Danny is certainly one of those players, the tactic of 3 central midfielders doesnt seem to work with this crop of players yet 442 with just the 2 central midfielders has proved to be usually successfull. I I think personally that in away games and against certain teams we lack energy and physical presence in this area, a point several fans have mentioned yet the club have failed to address, with Danny performing at his peak we get away with it , otherwise we need a "KevinNolan type" midfielder
 
Was I the only one surprised to see Drinkwater taken off at half time? Out of the three Centre mids I thought he was the best, King and James were hardly in the game.
