The thing is though, reading the thoughts of Reading fans on another forum, he was never actually a good player for them in the first place. The general opinion is that he was wildly overhyped in the media because he is a "television player" i.e. he looks good on the telly, because he makes blocks and tackles and you don't notice his poor positioning/marking/how many headers he misses so much on the tv.
They're all waxing lyrical about Kasper Gorkss and how much better he is than Mills, not only as an individual but as a leader and getting the best out of his defensive partner Alex Pearce as well.
