The fact that we have literally had back to back seasons as a result of COVID has surely impacted on players and their ability to remain fit rested and injury free?

You can't just keep repeating this line with absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

Where is the evidence that the injuries this season, were in any way a result of increased by the extra games we played last season? Let us look at a few of them:

Ndidi had an impact injury.
As did Vardy.
As did Fofana.
As did Justin.
As did Ricardo.
Vardy was as fit as a fiddle, in fact by some accounts, his pre-season tests showed some of his finest numbers before his knee injury.... an impact injury.
Castagne had a thigh impact that needed draining.
Evans is an ageing CB and has had a persistent heel injury for a long time. Could this be attributed to the extra games? Perhaps in a tenuous way at best.

Maybe there was some impact but it is very hard if not impossible to assert that with any real confidence.
