Exacly i hate muse and Queen, but love Radiohead who everyone always compares Muse to. Never seen the comparison myslef except that Matt Bellamy has ripped off Yorke's singing voice

Muse's first album is very Radiohead. I was never a fan of Radiohead till lately, but I have full mantra for Radiohead as they are willing to push boundaries and experiment like no other band. You have to give them credit for being a band who never rest on the formula. They could have easily made another 3 versions of The Bends after releasing that.

I'm not a fan of The Bends, donm't get me wrong it's good, but i prefer everything they've done since, especially OK Computer and Kid A. I loev how they push the barriers though, that's the kind of thing i'm into, i just want to hear soemthing different to anything else, which is why i prefer their post-Bends stuff. I mean i've got nothing particuarly agaainst bands like the Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, Razorlight etc. but they jsut follow the same basic song-writing skills, they never try anything new

Radiohead - some of their stuff is good, IMO it is not a "classic".
Muse - not really a fan.
Queen - IMO the best band of all time.

i was a massive stone roses fan and didn't care much for the second coming

to be honest, i thought the stone roses album was only good, the excellent stuff was the Mersey Paradise, Elephant Stone other stuff

getting into Muse, they rocked Leeds...but yeah he is doing karoke Radiohead with extra servings of guitars

well for what it's worth I hate Muse, Queen and Radiohead. All a load of wank, and I'm never wrong.

early Stone Roses was quality, but didn't think too much to 2nd coming.

I'm not really sold on his music, he always strikes me as a bit of a chancer who is out of his depth musically. But I have to say I do like his attitude, he always seems as if he has his feet on the ground & inhabits the same universe that we do, which is a lot more than most of the muso type pricks that get record deals.

Cant sing for toffee. Just took a chance with 3 extremely skilled musicians with The Stone Roses.

Disagree completely with this. Ian Brown has gone on to prove himself musically where the others either have taken an easy route (Primal Scream) or a shite one (The Seahorses). I quite agree Ian Brown can't sing, but he never has been able to! Lyrically he is as astute singer/songwriter as any in his field at present. F.E.A.R is brilliant. Ian Brown can't sing very well live for sure, but a lucky chancer? Nope. Don't buy that at all.
