in the same way that weather reporting is not quite a job? How can they get away with being consistantly wrong and keep their jobs whereas one building falls down and kills a few hundred people and well i get the sack instantly.

As everyone else has been ignorant and ignored you Highland, yes we have had snow down this way. Good couple of inches. Mainly freezing over now but there is a 30-40% chance of some more tomorrow.
