Glad to hear that you were only slightly late. I managed to catch my planned train from Victoria despite the best efforts of GNER (and FWIW the problem that we suffered was before Stevenage, not after!!) But GNER proved to be complete amateurs in the world of delayed trains last night - they can't hold a light to SouthEastern's efforts! All was OK as far as Bromley South, but we came to a dead stop between Meopham and Sole Street - and stayed there for well over an hour. ElectricAnnie and the non-electric Conductor kept muttering about "road vehicle", "bridge-bash" and "no further information", but there were some seriously dehydrated people on that train before it got on its way again. Finally crawled into Faversham 80 minutes late and still had to drive the rest of the way home!
By the time I got home the chippie was shut and Mrs Boc was well asleep, so no knockings of any sort. She didn't even want to hear about Matty Fryatt's first goal of the season.
