It is widely known that 'trigger' McAteer is not the sharpest tool in the box.
He was keen to return closer to his roots on Merseyside and therefore had already made the decision that he would find somewhere between there and Leicester to set up home and commute to the Midlands.
When Trigger arrived in Leicester to finalise the deal with Micky he was surprised to learn that City now play their home games at the Walkers Stadium.
He had accepted that Filbert Street was within his reach in terms of travel distance but felt that the Walkers Stadium was just a little too far.......
