"I've got no doubts about James or Matt. I think Scowcroft will be an asset, he's a threat in the air and can play right across the line. With Matt Heath we're just trying to rebuild him again, his confidence was slightly dented after I left Leicester but we're gradually seeing him turn the corner and he will be a real asset to the Club."

Keep taking the tablets Mick.

Bless him. i do like Micky he's a nice chap int he. he's more a social worker than a football manager though. :056:

He got a great point at Norwich people, with a squad significantly weaker than ours...

I applaud your optimism and pray you are correct.

I've also shelved this as 'opening day freak' result....But who knows? They could be a threat too, MA may get it right again.

Micky Adams thinks that Micky Adams is to football management what Freud was to pshycology.

I like how he thinks Matt Heaths confidence was only dented after he left. The guy doesnt do modesty does he?!!?:081:

Well, he's picked up another point last night, bravely hanging on against 10 men.

10 men of a team who get through chairman and managers like underwear

and whose best players all left in the summer, any notice Ifill skinning us on saturday?

Here's a quote from a KovSkummer regarding their match at Millwall last night:

i was there last night and yes we were awful.

we just didnt have any widh, coudnt pass and adams tactics were far too defensive.

he took our most dangerous player off in adebola for no reason.

millwall didnt stifle us, we just couldnt break them down as we were clueless. once they went down to 10 men we should have buried them, a decent team would have.

Deja vu anyone?
