Didn't think that Mark de Vries attained anywhere near the awfully low standard as many of the others - and what club wouldn't want an Elvis playing for them?
They were both terrible. Hammond more so. He couldn’t control the ball, he couldn’t finish, just not good at all.

Who was that twat who played up front for us but didn’t understand the offside rule?

Can’t remember his name?

I struggle to look past our once central midfield partnership of Andy Johnson and Jason Jarrett.

I’m pretty sure Josh Low was on one of the wings during that period. Dreadful footballer.

I actually didn’t think Johnson was that bad. By no possible stretch of the imagination among the best midfielders we’ve had, but I think one of the less bad ones of that era.

That could describe a few players of that era. Mediocrity made them one of our better players.

Let’s not forget Roman Bednar either.

Just on the 2007-8 roster alone there is a worst XI to rival any others.

Neilsen Newton Kishiishev Worley Clapham Kaebi Laczko Bori Etuhu Hellings Cort

Bench
Hammond (ankle) Sappleton Alnwick Bell Hayes
Is it any wonder we got relegated
