I read a comment the other day that said our net spend was £100m more than Spurs over the last five years.

No idea if it's true.

They are a selling club. Gareth Bale bringing in 80M alone sets their budget sheet all off. Let's see what ours looks like if we have to sell Mahrez and Kante for 50M a pop.

We also have Sven to thank for spunking millions on by and large mediocre players.

Iread somewhere that since 1992 we've spent £90m on players, Liverpool have spent £900m.
Could be crap but sounds impressive

Even if it is the owners have spent that amount of money its gone on the clubs infrastructure, not players. The owners are undoubtedly looking towards the long term and some of these so called experts would do better if they actually looked and analysed, rather than just repeating what they think they know because such a focus fits easily into the claptrap spouted by them in their respective columns.

I'd be fairly sure their wage bill over the same time period would more than wipe that out.

Not sure where these get their figures from, but (assuming they're not too far off the mark), their wage spend would be approximately £125m more than ours over the last 2 seasons alone:

GTF highlighting how big he once was.

What a legendary player he was for us, if his name wasn't so long, everyone would have got his name on the back of their shirts.

He'd be in my worst 11 of all time if it wasn't for that Waghorn guy taking his spot...

It is easy to diss those who helped us to get to these lofty heights. He was never as quick as Kante, but he could put in a decent shift to help control our midfield.

Are you guys serious? GTF or Waghorn are absolutely nowhere besrv
Kasper Schmeichel has been voted Denmark's player of the year.

So him and Riyad been voted the best player in their nation. Great stuff!

When is the Japanese vote?
