That's my point really. He does similar regularly and it's always in support of somebody that is asking him to.

He's very matey with Cooper.

Well, there is no football manager in the whole world that works as hard as he does, apparently, so you can't blame him

I don't get it, do you? If he works so hard, how does nothing change in our play?

Also - say whatever you want - this is not the most difficult job in the league.

From Percy:

Leicester City owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha launched an angry broadside at the club’s players in a summit meeting earlier this week, Telegraph Sport can reveal.

Srivaddhanaprabha, known at the club as “Top”, confronted the squad over the dismissal of head coach Steve Cooper and the fallout from the Christmas party in Copenhagen.

In the meeting, at the club’s training ground on Tuesday, Leicester’s chairman accused the players of letting down Cooper, who was sacked on Sunday after just 12 Premier League games in charge.

Though the decision to part company with Cooper was made solely by Srivaddhanaprabha, the Thailand-based businessman felt that the players were partly culpable by producing a number of poor performances since promotion back to the top division.

It is understood that the owner was also bitterly disappointed with footage of the players in Copenhagen hours after the 2-1 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday.

Videos went viral of Leicester’s players partying in a nightclub with a sign also visible with the words “Enzo I miss you”, which appeared to be a clear reference to Cooper’s predecessor, Enzo Maresca.

The Christmas party had been sanctioned by Leicester, and Cooper, before the weekend and Copenhagen
is a regular destination for the squad.

However, Srivaddhanaprabha told the players that the scenes on video were untimely and did not present a positive image of Leicester as a family club, which was a huge source of pride for his late father, Khun Vichai.

The confrontation is believed to have been measured, with the players all sitting in silence as the owner spoke to them. Senior players are also understood to have accepted the remarks.
Leicester declined to comment on the meeting.

New manager hunt

Last season’s Championship title-winners, Leicester are one point above the relegation zone and searching for a new manager.

In the meeting it was also relayed to the players that the next appointment will be a “free agent” and no compensation will be paid to secure the new man.

That rules out West Bromwich Albion’s highly regarded Carlos Corberan, who would cost more than £3 million to prise away from the Hawthorns.

Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter and ex-West Ham manager David Moyes have been ruled out by Leicester as potential candidates.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, the former Manchester United striker, is in the frame. The 48-year-old recently took charge of United for four matches as interim manager following the sacking of Erik ten Hag.

In that brief period he guided United to two victories over Leicester – first in the Carabao Cup and then the Premier League.

Why the **** would he say this kind of thing in this supposed meeting with the players?

Sounds like a completely made up, and deliberately planted story to me

Ooh look at Top, wading in to take control. Isn't he great, everyone?

It would make no sense to say that. None at all.
