It can't be cached on my computer because the Temporary Internet Files folder is emptied every time I close the browser. I have also Ctrl+F5'ed so I should now have a new copy, but the smilie is still there (Row3, column3)

It looks exactly the same to me as the one in Melton's first post.
It is. But the one in Melton's first post has changed, because I replaced the old version with the new one. I don't think anyone can misunderstand the meaning of this version.

Depends on how many fingers he's got. How can a smiley alone offend anyway? If it's accompanied by text which is offensive or abusive then action can be taken over that if a moderater thinks it deserves it.
