there won't be many games this season where 19 different bowlers were used. not sure its sign of strength in depth more of a lack of quality from the two sides

Flat pitch as usual at the SWALEC. But let's face it, an early wicket and we'd have lost. So credit where credit's due, means the bowling performance was slightly excusable. But still second bottom seems to be the accurate position for us.

Yes these are seriously poor sides but all credit to Thornely.

I've thought that Eckersley will make runs from his early appearances. I don't believe that he is a No 3 but given the other choices it's a more than justifiable decision. If Jefferson is ever fit again you could start to assemble a batting order that might be just about viable and discard the repetitive failures. who have had far too many chances.

The dimal weather forecast after today looks like wreaking more financial as well as playing problems.
