you cant deny the vast improvement not in results but in style and belief

In which case the results will come.

Please forgive me for being sceptical on all this.

I would like you to be right but I honestly don't see it that way.

My reading is as follows:

first, Micky was off track in virtually every respect - should have walked last summer - a number of us pointed out on a regular basis that nice guy as he is -he was getting it all wrong. I think even the most loyal Micky supporters would now admit that this was the case.

second, you would expect that things would pick up in the short term with a new manager in place - but we still can't win a game -even against threadbare opposition and its coming up to two home wins in eleven months - that's a pretty staggering record.

--- all the above suggests that its time for a totally fresh start and that rules out DB.

I'm fine about DB stabilising things whilst a younger, fresher face is recruited - and I anticipate that there is a major re-construction phase then needed to build a squad that can produce the 'up and at 'em' high tempo football which is Leicester City at its best.

I do agree with you I don't want Bassett in charge, but I believe that if we keep playing and believeing again, then our quality could put a run together. However we all want a new manager, we cannot rush this IMO....this is a massive step for our beloved club.

The Foxes Trust seem to know soemthing here, stating that Bassett is not in conflict by being a candidate for the job and the director of football. I wish they would say why!!!

This suggests that something non-standard is going on.
I think that Davies is championing Bassett for the job to string the process out until Megson gets the chop from WBA with Bassett being in on the ruse too.

Its a betting scandal, we need the money to pay off corkey
