Gerard Depardieu may also appear in the movie as Jules Rimet. Perhaps the Frenchman is there to help the actor's keep their pecker's up.


The FIFA film is due for release before the 2014 World Cup. So there's not a lot of time to get it all filmed and the post production/editing etc.

As it's French made film the likes of Eric Cantona and David Ginola to have walk on parts playing themselves perhaps?
Will Zinedine Zidane feature I wonder.
