theres nothing wrong with our midfielders, exeption of sylla. and our defence could be as good as anyones if CL stopped fecking about with it.

well smith hasnt really done much since the sheffield united game, people will probably slaughter me for having a go at such a talent but i really dont think he's been too arsed about playing recently. the two supposed playmakers are always injured, there are times when only joey is putting the effort in...all into account i'd say its more than a difference of strikers

Agree Fitz, IMO one striker isnt going to make all the difference, and I agree as regards Smith, IMO he has flattered to decieve in reent games and his lack of discipline has been quite evident recently, he certainly has potential. Midfield and defence are both areas that are suffering due to Levein still not having decided on his best XI.

Its not just the strikers true, we have been poor in a number of areas on occasions, but if you are scoring that can ease the pressure a bit elsewhere. If we score it also means the opposition has to 'come on to us' a bit leaving a bit more room behind their midfield etc. No one player is going to solve everything, but one who can score goals regularly will make a big difference.
IMO of course.

i agree, it will also give the players we have a boost.

some of our players have ability, but after half a season of wasting chances, they no longer see the point in busting a gut to create those chances. I Recall a similar thing with Akinbiyi. Maybe a new striker, if he can instill confidence in the team will help.

Is 1 striker enough tho, I now see why leeds and sheff utd always keep buying strikers since it leaves them with options during games.

Still think we need a loanee in either an attacking midfielder or a striker.
