supermaket prices are cheaper but the fuel of big firms is much better
 
But by boycotting the ****s they will have to bring it down eventually.
true say, i go to morrisons as its pretty cheap and the petrols ok then, if it was the same price at shell i would defo go thier shell is top notch petrol

Technically yes, but shell/bp etc add stuff into their petrols which the supermarkets miss out so they can sell it cheaper. My car runs rough as a dog if I don’t use shell/bp roughly every 2 out 3 times filling up.

And sometimes the supermarkets put something in - hence the compensation claims from last year!

Yep they add something and its called a con . There is next to no difference between the fuel from the petrol giants and the supermarkets.
The cheaper fuel at supermarkets is a marketing ploy to get you to do your shopping at their places. They can sacrifice profit margins in order to lure people to do their shopping.
An old friend of my family owned a garage near Filbert Street, and he once told me that the super unleaded was also a con regarding performance over premium unleaded .
