What makes you think that CL won't play random players in the wrong position for the rest of the season? Why will he change now?

and what did changing Hammond for Hume gain. A like for like player...??

Fryatt was brought on too late, but he looked good from the little we saw.

A few weeks ago I was feeling optimistic because we were creating chances and playing good football, and I thought a signing goalscorer would see us climbing the league.

But I don't think I can take many more performances like today.

Sheffield Wednesday are one of the worst teams I've seen this season, they were awful. But we still weren't good enough to beat them. We gifted them two goals. They didn't have the quality to create chances without our help - their only other shot didn't come until the 93rd minute!

For the second half they seemed to be content just to let us have the ball. Maybe they knew these foxes aren't cunning enough to break teams down, or maybe they knew our passing would be so bad we'd keep giving the ball back to them.

But I can forgive a defeat if the players look like they're putting everything into the game. If they close down and tackle like they did against Spurs. If they run until they drop, and look as though they're proud to wear the shirt. Too many of the players didn't look interested today. Maybe they think they're too good to have to battle against a team as poor as Wednesday. If that's the case then maybe a spell in the reserves will bring them back down to earth.

I too was optimistic driving up today. I thought after the second half vs. Spurs that CL would finally realise that with a bit more attacking intent and desire to chase the ball, we could play some good stuff. And for 20 minutes that optimism remained...

Now I am severely worried for our season, more so than ever. The most worrying thing for me is that the teams around us, whilst they may severely lack quality, will at least have organisation, fight, spirit and some sort of plan. when we went 2-1 down, we had no idea how to go about finding a goal and very few of them seemed like they wanted to find a goal.

To rub it in, the 2000 odd people who gave up and day, a lot of money and effort to watch us were not even acknowledged as the players left the park.

All optimism has gone.

Top post Webbo, sums it up in a nutshell !

i dont!

did he do it today?
I think yesterday was a tad better for playing players in their correct position. In fact scrap that comment, I think most of them were played out of position, they were on the pitch for a start

I sometimes don't agree with what i think have been your over tolerant comments, but you normally write a sort of sense!

I just KNOW from years of following Leicester and football, when a manager isn't going to be able to deliver the goods.

Obviously, Levein desparately wants to achieve success - and there are a number of different manager types who succeed through difffernt appraches - but Levein doesn't have the personality to inspire players, frighten players or earn the respect of his staff through his tactical awareness.

I agree:038:

as much as feel sorry for everyone that spend a hell of a lot of money for there ticket and travel to watch a pantomine every support should support and get behind the club especially in hard times like this.

We Will Get Out Of This Mess, and if it wasnt for CL playing random players in the wrong positions on the pitch we might not be in this mess.

Come On Leicester

Sorry Scarby, but I cannot and will not share your optimism, we are in the brown smelly stuff up to our necks and we are sinking fast, 4 league defeats on the spin, 2 points from our last 6 and no win in the league since Sheff Utd in late November.

We are not showing one ounce of passion, commitment and desire required to get oursleves out of this mess. After witnessing far too many performances that follow the same pattern, I am at present convinced that the trapdoor to league 1 is as wide as ever, it isnt the results that are causing me concern, form after all is tempoary, it is the lack of fight and a lack of realisation from many areas of the club that we are in deep trouble. The performances and fight are getting weaker and weaker, whilst the excuses and lack of positive action is getting lamer and lamer, we are club that appears to have accepted relegation, has lost all it's fight and now appears content to die right in front of very eyes.

Gerrbrand clapped, but it appeared to be a "hidden clap" not in view of the other players or management. I thought the Levein Out chants were ill timed but TBH I felt the fans had backed the team well and it was purely out of fustration at what was a disgraceful 2nd half performance in such an important match.

That's what pisses me off when people slag the fans for not supporting the team, what are the players saying to the fans when they produce what they did yesterday, is that not just like sticking 2 fingers up and telling us all to go and feck ourselves, but hey we should shout and cheer them whatever, like dumb animals, that shower of shite were a disgrace yesterday, and there were possibly over 1500 fans there spending hard earned money, to witness what can only be descibed as an insult.

Many of the performances of this club this season dont deserve our cash and our support. I will always follow and 'love' leicester city football club, but the lack of passion and pride for the blue shirt, which coincidently I think has been lacking to a certain extent since the PT era, really hurts me and I am finding it harder and harder to cheer the players due to their performances. I will always cheer for lcfc but necessarily the players or the management.

basically it was a shit day. had a lovely journey into sheffield with a fellow city fan letting us follow him to the stadium as we looked lost, then the exhaust fell of my mates car because he hit a speed bump, we parked in kwik fit and went to that chinese chip shop, which tasted like shite. went round the away end and pissed £5 away on a bet for hammond to score 1st & leics win 2-1. great start with stearmans bicycle kick and hammond almost made it 2 but for a good save. after that it was downhill and i didnt want to watch after 70 mins as looked like we would never score. de vries should have buried it in the dying minutes but all he could do is straight at the goalie. then leaving the ground a few chavs started on me and said they'd kick my head in but never actually got round to it, just useless idle threats. then going through the 1 way system out of sheff towards the m1 we were treated to a honda civic trying to creep by us and another civic mounting the kerb to get round him... the 1st civic stopped and popped his head out mouthin off at him on the kerb, so we decided to shout at him on the kerb, but the guy in the 1st civic thought we were shoutin at him, he was big and asian and all his m8s got out the car but we told him we werent happy with that dick on the path and he said its ok nor am i but the dick in the 2nd civic still managed to get by. obviously didnt have a license or insurance as he came close to hitting atleast 5 cars not including us. then i had to put up with a rasping exhaust of a 1.4 clio all the way down the m1. what a shower of shite.

Similar day to me.................:icon_sad:

very similar to me, i had a forced scuffle after the game with two brain dead locals who dont know their arse from their tit. shit day apart from the complete binge that proceeded and followed the game. was extremely pissed off with the players not even acknowledging us after being made to watch that utter garbage for 90 mins. with the possition we were in before the game i thought there was no heart no fight and no awareness from leveins tactics that we were 1 point off the relegation spot, playing another low team. also why the **** did levein buy hume as it's clear he doesnt think much of him by leaving the poor lad on the bench every fooking week. PISS OFF CL ive had enough of your inept tactics and general clueless operating of our team.
