It sort of is when our net spend in the summer was 80m.
Gross spend was ~£80m in the summer.

With the KDH sale and Maresca compo the net spend for the summer would have been around £35-40m.

Not the best of debuts getting tonked at home by relegation fodder....

tbh I always felt like Tom Cannon's stats at Stoke were made to look a bit better than they were on the consistency front by that 4 goal haul he got in one game.

He played for Sheffield United last night and was shit.

Their fans are already moaning about him.

But, but, but he’s the most amazing striker in the history of football and we are fools for letting him go?

Just a few comments from the more sensible SU fans after just one game:

Felt sorry for Cannon. Clearly frustrated because we just weren't getting the ball to him

Cannon looked decent but Wilder had no idea how to use him.

Doesn't look like Wilder has ever seen Cannon play. Had no idea how to use him.

Nothing against Cannon, he's a step above anything we have but we needed CBs before attackers.

He might be shit there and if we go down I hope he is but it's time that will give us the answer.
