The two of them are a long way away from the rest of the keepers in the premiership. Van Der Sar is playing the kind of football that he did in his best years at Juve. Superb stuff.

why is kirkland in everyone's top 10.
Yes, he is a good keeper with lot's of potential but what has he proved(apart from that he can be the only permanently injured goalkeeper in the Prem)
He has done nothing in the liverpool team this season.

If and only if he can get into the liverpool side for a long stretch of time and play well, then he could merit a place in the top 10.

my thoughts are similar!

kirkland has proven nothing. living in coventry as i do, i hear all these 'cov' fans going on about him but he only played in goal for coventry for less than 1season, then he went to liverpool and has played less than 20matches for them and people are trying to say he is top class??
there is no way it would have been deserved if he had gone to euro2004, walker deserves it 100times more

kirklands dirty
