I would presume that it is French, German and Italian.

I know that they have different words for the hundredth-part of the Franc in different parts of the country - centime, rappon or centisimi, according to which language they speak there.

There is also a fouth language which is used in a small area. Can't remember what it is called but I doubt if it will appear on the currency.

Ah yes, thanks - Romanche, although Romanisch is the name that I had in mind (presumably the German version of the name).

Romanche is actually a modern day version of Latin - and in fact the proper name of the country - Confederatanio Helvetica (or something similar) - is in Romanche. So probably Romanche does also appear on the banknotes as well as the other three languages.


Also the reason that CH appears on the International Identification plates on Swiss cars.
