Now that the English season is over, I'm adjusting to life in Division 1 - the M.L.S., watching Toronto. Mo Johnston appears to be a good manager, in the mold of M.A. After a very shaky start (their first season in the league), Johnston has not been afraid to tinker with the team, which is now 4 pts. above the much vaunted L.A. Galaxy, with 9 played, 3 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. Some names from English leagues -
Jim Brennan (Norwich) 9 played 1 goal
Danny Dichio 5 " 3 "
Ronnie O'Brien 5 " 0 "
Carl Robinson ( Wolves,Norwich etc.)
7 " 0 "
And everyone's favourite -
Andy Welsh 5 " 1 "
Dichio is very much the crowd favourite, his physical approach is causing havoc among the opposition, particularly the goalies who are definately not used to his style of play!

A lot of Poles-Canadians I speak to support them. Sold out games almost every week.

I know it was very shaky start to the season (couldnt score).

I hear plans are afloot to expand the MLS into 12-16 teams. Philly, Cleveland and Vancouver all wanting a place.
