my 14yo stepson is Thai, he was on Blackpools books at 8yo released at 10yo and was recently offerred a contract with Blackburn Rovers (which he declined as he wanted to stay in local football), anyone have a contact email address so i can inform the club of his existance/progess, btw left footed striker (50 goals a seson) dads a Leicester fanatic

The 90 mile rule didn't exist when Beckham was 15. Whether you travel by car, helicopter or spaceship, Blackpool is still more than 90 miles by road from Leicester.

The rule was brought in to stop kids doing too much travelling to training after school. So a time limit makes more sense than a distance limit.
