Trust Elects New Co-Chairs

Twenty years of unwavering nothingness. Wow!

Some quite negative views about the previous chair on the other place.

Basically saying he's abused his position to get on the Fan Advisory Board, which is now the only supporters group the club will speak to and has stood down now the FT is even more meaningless.

The new chairs are considered to be good people and seem to have the support of @Foxes Trust Reform.

So Ian Bason has got himself the gravy train role on the FAB for three years and then quit his position at the FT.

He obviously saw that he was going to be voted out but hung on long enough to get the role of his dreams.

It all makes sense now. The FT will have a far lesser role with the club now that the FAB exists.

Hello all, Lynn here, new Co-Chair of the Trust, a quick personal post from me:

I'm looking forward to working with all the different supporters groups and hearing as many views as possible from all of you as we push for the new fan engagement framework to truly result in the club listening to fans, to get safe standing implemented before next season and also progress improvements at the Trust.

I'd personally like to put my thanks on record to Ian who has given up countless hours to the Trust over the years, all voluntarily, and has often received vitriolic personal abuse and unwarranted accusations. People have not seen how hard he has worked in the background and how he has been instrumental in wanting to move the Trust forward in the last couple of years.

Both myself and my Co-Chair, Steve, and Ian in his role at the FAB, want to ensure that the Trust's dialogue with the club is maintained and improved, alongside the Fans Engagement Framework.

I can be contacted on [email protected] if you have any ideas, comments or complaints, and you can find me at men's games in G2, W-118 or at women's games in B1, F-136.
