the point about using the City Ground for the Pompey play off *home* leg...

i think at the time the capacity of Welford Road was about 12,000 and that's with the terracing which couldn't be used

oh and where was the consultation of moving the Palace game after announcing the date because "maybe it might be cold in a week, but not the day after" ?

they treat the fans with disregard and wonder why they never fill the stadium...

How many members does the trust have?

Not sure about travelling being easier on Tuesday evening than Sunday afternoon, mind.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't same as always. If they hadn't enquired about it people would have questioned where they were, when they do they get shit.

Given that it's OUR ground, why is our game being moved? Either use it when we aren't there or **** off and find somewhere else.

For money!

If anyone has actually put any thought into this idea then they should be lined up against a wall and a bullet placed squarely between their eyes. However, I believe I must be correct in thinking that no thought process has been undertaken with this particular **** up, I find it impossible that anyone at such a high level of the club could have engaged their brain and come out with this as a conclusion.

What a bunch of absolute ****ing *****.

are we to take it alls not well between the club and our unelected trust?

Relations are generally good and a number of things they are planning for next season (some of which was released today) are good and indeed some are our suggestions being adopted, but we will continue to criticise where we feel a decision has not taken into account the supporters, and the ground being released to the Tigers and the potential alternative days certainly don't.

Just to pick up on one thing, the Trust board are democratically elected by its members, and that is the structure of all Trusts, this isn't the case with many supporters organisations.

it just seems to me that on the big things like this the club don't consult us but then on the trivial things like the shirt front thing they do. to me its like the club jangling keys and saying "look at the shiney shiney" while they ride rough shod over us

Couldn't agree more.Of course when there's money involved everything else goes to the wall & that's not going to change.I reckon the only way to make this a non-issue is to make sure we clinch promotion before the 2nd last home game, then we can all party at that instead.Although to be honest I'm not going to be feeling anything more than a sense of relief.Might manage a polite clap but to my mind getting out of Div 3 isn't worth more than that.
As an aside...I'm amazed that this is even as issue in this day & age.I mean, considering how easy it is to download gay porn I find it hard to understand why so many people still want to watch Rugby.
