I think this is the most balanced thing the FT has had to say on the takeover so far and deals with the issues in an objective way. Much better , thankyou.

Dear FT, Do the shareholders vote for MM bid in principle, then MM does 'due diligence', then MM makes formal written bid with all amounts/loans/player investment etc in and then the shareholders vote again?

Even at this stage we are still not sure of the process being followed on Saturday.

We have been in further discussions with both the club & MM's representative today, a more detailed legal document is now being drawn up ready for the EGM in response to questions the Trust & other shareholders have raised.

I'm bemused by this whole process, between the club, the FT, Mandaric's camp and the media they seem to convey no cohesion or organisation at all.

We heard early last week that the board and the FT wanted more detail about some areas yet the club still call an EGM and only now do we hear MM has been asked to submit a more detailed bid before saturday.

Perhaps that's because you are not part of the inner circle;)

This is what the trust should concentrate on.

From the BBC ;)

Clubs promoted to the Premiership in May will be guaranteed a windfall of £50m. (The Sun)

;)

only jokeing, but with only eight players turning up monday maybe their could be better alternatives if mm decides to sell

Can't argue with what you have said. The bid should have been more detailed in the first place which would have avoided this last minute situation & dilute what can actually be achieved at the EGM

There are 24 teams focused on it, but only 3 will make it a reality & Watford prove it isn't all about cash.

No but they managed to win promotion and yet we continue to flounder in the lower half of the championship (they also have IMO one of the best young managers around).
