Tunchev Completes Treble

After winning the December monthly awards and being voted the best player of the season so far, Aleksandar Tunchev won his third award of the week by being voted the best player in the FA Cup 3rd Round tie against Crystal Palace. In a dour game dominated by defences, it was Tunchev who caught the eye with striker Steve Howard claiming runner up despite being the lone striker and Mark Davies once again making the top three in what could possibly be his last game for the Foxes.

Lloyd Dyer's poor run of form continued as he was voted the worst player in the City side against Neil Warnock's side. Bruno Berner and Max Gradel were the only other players on the field long enough to be in contention for this award.

I have a feeling that Lloyd Dyer is unhappy playing in cold weather which is not a good thing for anyone paying in England. I have not been impressed with Adams technical ability but he had one moment of great vision and technical perfection. Stand by for one of the silliest sentences ever on the forum: Nicky Adams did a crossfield ball to Max Gradel that reminded me of Bobby Charlton. I was sitting in the West stand, Nicky Adams was right in front of me. Just I utter the words 'Adams is just not skillful enough to play regularly for us', he goes and spanks this cross field pin-point pass to Gradel. It was worth a tenth of the admission fee alone.

I was obviously not far from you. The guys behind me were saying 'Adams is fecking shite' when 10 seconds later he produces this surreal Beckhamesque 50 yard crossfield pass to Gradel's feet! They initially tried to deny that Adams had played the pass! Then of course for the rest of the game he played like Adams instead of Beckham!
