When I spoke to nigel yesterday he said he was along way from being fully fit. I think we are going to really nurse him back. Nigel knows what a good player he is and he doesn't want to risk doing any long term damage.

Pearson mentioned that tunchev and clemence were some way from being fit in an interview. He also said that Brown was fit but we had a number of important games coming up and implied that he wanted to save his legs.

I know that the lack of regular reserve matches is supposed to save money: I think that it is an odd saving when millions of pounds worth of players are struggling to regain fitness after injury.

Bit harsh, considering he was surrounded by probably the worst collection of players to ever be assembled at the club. He did have a poor season, but so did everyone else.

I don't think it's just a case of fitness with Clemence and Tunchev though. It's that they can't do anything without having some kind of reaction to it, whether it be swelling or pain etc.
