Turnstiles - other than on your ticket

I have a ST for D1 - that has turnstiles 13-18 on the ticket. I like to use (Bloomfields) C2 and I am able to get access to if I use 13-18 then use the stairs in the concourse. :icon_bigg

It made sense to me that if I was going to do that and I was passing turnstile 12 that gives direct access to C2.

The gateman at turnstile 12 refused me entry and said I had to use the turnstiles indicated on the ticket. :icon_roll

I explained to him what my intension was and he said he wasn't going to let me and wasn't going to argue about it, however his mate on the next turnstile did!

I could understand it if there was a capacity/safety issue, then access by he stairs wouldn't be available.

What is occuring and has anyone else had the same problem

A few weeks ago I went in to the ground via one of the kop entrances (I actually sit in H) Once Id had a pint with my mate I made my around to H via a row of empty seats and ovet the blue barrier. A steward followed me all the way and down to the bar in H block to question what I was doing, I was shocked :icon_eek:

I have done a similar thing in a 40k crowd in Millienieum Stadium. Didnt get picked up tho.

thats because it pretty similar to doing it with a 20000 crowd at the walkers
