England beat the windies in a warm up for friday as well. Wright spanked them all over the park.
 
Need to win the next one now to get back in contention.

Need Lancs to keep winning the rest of their matches to keep the group pretty even. A win tomorrow before the break would be a real boost.

Was thinking about the championship team for Saturday now that Allenby is in such good form. I presume he will slot in instead of one of the bowlers (last match here) but if not then one of the batsman will have to give, just as they had each started scoring some runs. Also keeps Josh Cobb out in the cold for the time being. Of course HD might be injured for that as well.
 
I thought this was an exceptional performance by any standards.

It shows what can be done from a flying start.

The other thing that struck me was that the body language of the Notts side seemed to indicate that they were never up for this game. I appreciate that they are top of the 1st division of the championship and probably do not see themselves as primarily a T20 side- but nonetheless no matter how well we played, they still looked strangely out of sorts.
