FOXES LINE UP AN INCE WAR
By Alan Nixon And Tom Hopkinson
Paul Ince and John Gregory are in a straight shoot-out for the vacant managerial post at Leicester.
Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric approached MK Dons boss Ince last week, and the former Manchester United and England midfielder will give the Serb an answer in the next 72 hours. Ince is keen to replace Mark Hughes at Blackburn and should know by Tuesday whether he is in the running at Ewood Park.
If not, he will answer Leicester's call.
Mandaric has also sounded out Gregory. People Sport understands the former Derby and Aston Villa manager is the preferred choice of one of two consortiums who are keen to buy the League One club from Mandaric.
Gregory hopes to learn early this week whether that consortium has any real hope of gaining control.
