Young Foxes March On

Leicester City's remarkable run in the under 18s continued on Saturday when they recorded an impressive 4-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

Steve Beaglehole's young charges had gone into the game on the back of a three-match winning run.

And that record was further extended following the devastating demolition of the Premiership giants.

Eric Odihambo, Ashley Chambers, Jay Smedley and Joe Mattock grabbed the goals on the day - with all four coming in the first half of the contest.

Speaking after the game, Academy Director Jon Rudkin said: "The lads have got a great spirit and it was another good win for us.

"The young players can see a clear path to the first team at this club, and watching the likes of Richard Stearman and James Wesolowski progress to the first team can't do their motivation any harm.

"We've got some good players here and they got no less than they deserved today."
