Alan Woolett

I was at the first game of the 1968-69 season at Loftus Road and a couple of Leicester supporters next to me kept referring to him as "Daisy." They didn't rate him at all, an impressionable 13 year old me took that on board and he was forever tainted.

It wasn't helped by the PE teacher at my school who was from Leicester never failed to tell me that he kept Woollett out of their school team.

Has anyone mentioned Iain Huuuuuuuuuume yet?

One of the best players I’ve ever seen in a Leicester shirt… and he’s magic you know.

No… not Iheanacho.

If any player does not fit the description, it’s the seasoned Argentina international and winner of six league titles in Italy and Spain plus a Champions League. Arguably the biggest ‘name’ signing in our history at the time.
He was talking about Paddy Kisnorbo no?

And scorer of one of the most famous World Cup goals of all time :043:

Steve Lynex
My mum never misses an opportunity to tell me how much she fancied him, which is obviously quite upsetting for me.
