my old mar's USB pen stopped working the other day and she cant get any documents off it it just isn't lighting up apparently. im not very technical so if any one has any ideas i would be v greatful

try it on another PC, if it doesnt work then she is bollixed, simlple as. full stop

never store important files on just one drive, if it doesn't exist in at LEAST two places it doesnt exist at all. and that isnt bad for someone who is quite pissed, but it is sound advice.
