This is something that has happened before, and it's a known bug in the program - it's mentioned in that thread I sent you yesterday.

I won't be able to do anything about it until tonight.

I wasn't aware of it.

I've deleted them. But I only had to delete them once each, so it may just be a problem with the bit that displays them and everything else will work OK.
So you're welcome to try entering new events, and if they appear twice we'll see what happens when they're settled.

I've just tried to open a book. Only a single thread opened in the vBookie forum. But, as with you, there were two threads showing as OPEN, when I clicked 'vBookie' at the top of any page.

Another peculiarity is that the threads were different. One held a single post with 'Odds from #####' (as it shoudl ahve done), the other contained an ancient vBookie thread started by Webmaster in January 2006.

I donlt know whether this might help you to pinpoint what is going wrong.

It may help me pinpoint where it's gone wrong - but not if it's now been deleted.

I suspect the problem may only be that it's displaying the event twice, and the mechanics of placing and paying out bets should be OK. But we won't know until we try it.
