The greatest escape in PL history.I'm 4 days late in making any comment relating to it but i have excuses.

1) There was an almost full bottle of Bushmills in my house on Saturday afternoon.

2) It was empty on Sunday morning.

3) I put 50 quid on us staying up when we were 4/1...picked up the money on Monday & went out to continue the celebration.Felt like shit since.

4) It was mine & the Mrs anniversary at the weekend.I turned up on Saturday to go for a posh dinner in a state best described as pointless.Been making up for it since & not gaining much ground to be honest.

But **** all that.I am unbelievably happy & will love everyone for at least a week.

Now then...next tasks:

1) Win one of the cups next year thereby qualifying for the Europa.

2) Win the Europa thereby qualifying for the Champions League.

3) Win the Champions League qualifier

4) Champions League group stages for LCFC

After this Jesus can have me for a ****ing sunbeam as far as I'm concerned.

Over to you Nige...you have your mission.

It would certainly be nice to be established enough in the division to afford to go on a good cup run.

1969 was our last FA cup final
1982 was our last semi final

Smaller clubs than City have been to the final since. Wigan, Hull, Millwall even!

I'm glad someone's mrs found it amusing.Mine is yet to see the funny side I'm afraid.Season ticket to the doghouse for me (no idea how long the season is but it's looking like lasting at least until our summer holiday) Ah well,since we're both too old & unattractive to get anybody else at least I'm safe from a life of loneliness so no real harm done.
