Re: villa pre-match thread

Fulop

N'Gotty Kisnorbo MacAuley Chambers(Out of position I know)

Hume Kishishev Clemence Porter

De Vries Campbell

Subs Henderson, Stearman, Kaebi, Fryatt, Sheehan

4 - 0 to Villa, could be more but O'Neill will take pity on us.

Megson has now handed in his second team sheet. Team news when we have it. :icon_bigg ;)

I'd prefer Hume up front instead of campbell, newton on the right and campbell on the left. and porter to hold the bucket

Petrescu aka Mark on FT says the line up is as follows:

Fulop

Stearman
N'Gotty
McAuley
Kisnorbo
Mattock

Chambers
Clemence
Kishishev

Hume
Fryatt

:102:

It's so heartbreaking, I'll say it again:

Seven defenders, a defensive midfielder plus a keeper on the pitch

Three defenders plus a keeper on the bench

Only three attacking players in the whole feckin' squad of sixteen

Utter toss

In full from the OS. ;)

Leicester City boss Gary Megson makes two changes to his starting line up for the Carling Cup third round clash against Aston Villa at Villa Park.

In come Radostin Kishishev and Bruno N'Gotty for Alan Sheehan and Carl Cort.

Megson looks set to line up his side in a 5-3-2 formation - which he employed in the second half against Charlton Athletic last weekend.

Matty Fryatt and Iain Hume are reunited in the City attack, while Stephen Clemence, James Chambers and Radostin Kishishev will make up the midfield.

Alan Maybury makes the bench for the Foxes alongside Paul Henderson, DJ Campbell, Alan Sheehan and Darren Kenton.
Villa include England midfielder Gareth Barry in their line up, while Curtis Davies makes his first start since joining the club over the summer.

City: Fulop, Stearman, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Mattock, Clemence, Kishishev, Chambers, Hume, Fryatt.
Subs: Henderson, Campbell, Sheehan, Maybury, Kenton.

Villa: Taylor, Mellberg, Barry, Harewood, Agbonlahor, Davies, Knight, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Osbourne, Maloney.
Subs: Carson, Young, Moore, Berger, Gardner.

For ****kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Sake!!!!!

I reckon that's the worst team selection in the last 3 years. Which is going some.

So let me get this straight..we are playing in a one-off cup game against a good, albeit beatable premiership side..and we have 3 FULL BACKS on the bench? God help us

Look at that teamsheet! Surely cup football is supposed to encourage attacking football! Whats next - sneek a win then get dicked by Arsenal or the scousers, whoever it is we wont get any telly money at that stage - why not just ****in go for it???

No kaebi or ferreria:mad:

Stearman starting after playing poorly against charlton.

Barry, agbonlahor and reo coker are all on the team sheet for villa :icon_cry:

Tbh we should concentrate more on the league, thats whats important.
