You are a star, and the french idiot should never have put you in that position.

Please do the right thing and sign for us.

Didn't think he had the best of games today, just seemed to keep fouling the opposition every time he got forward.

Good penalty though, just a shame the keeper was equal to it.

good luck waggy, thanks for the effort, and the goals

Fantastic player, a real talent. He gave our club every effort he could, even though Sunderland are his team. Brilliant season Waggypants.

Ditto, give any money owing to Kermortwat for the next however many years he has a contact to Waggy

Would love him to stay, but can't see it happening.

He's going to go onto big things I think. Star in the making. Thanks for your time here Waggy!

I don't think he did well when he came on today, seemed to be falling over and making lots of fouls during his brief stint on the field but you can't blame his penalty miss. It was actually a good penalty infront of away fans making alot of noise under immense pressure.. good save.

going first in penalties is always tougher mentally, and yes after the miss it would have been tougher on waghorn because he knew if we missed we out, the takers before him didnt have that pressue.

His reaction at the end shows just how much the club means to him. He joined the club on loan as a youngster with limited experience and leaves a man. Was under intense pressure with his penalty and I felt he hit it well but the keeper went the right way and it was a good height but it was a very good save.

Good luck Waggy, and hold your head high :038:

I actually think he's been rather average for a while but this is due to having his first full senior season. He's struggled and tried too hard.

For one so young, an excellent season however.

going first in penalties is always tougher mentally

Why do you think that?

I'd have thought taking them second is tougher.
If you take them first and miss you know there's a chance of the other team missing and things remaining level.
If you take them second, particularly once you get to the fifth penalty / sudden death, the pressure is really on to score every time.

I feel he had a poor play-off campaign.

Considering his age though, he had a great season, and would snap Sunderland's hands off if they fancy another loan deal.
